Weight loss seems like a big word
I had tried it a couple of times but all my efforts were in vain. Sometimes I found it too difficult or sometimes I succumbed to my exam pressure or at times the diet left me starving so couldn’t continue for long.
My battle with my weight just seemed to be more and more complicated and I had began to accept myself the way I was. Until in June last year my mother introduced me to Dr Deepti, although I visited her just to make my mom happy and had least interest. My mom told Dr Deepti that I had tried several weight loss programs and diets but all in vain at times I did lose weight but it all bounced back leaving me demotivated.
My weight loss journey began with Dr Deepti ,with her eager motivation and constant help I began to walk the path of weight loss no actually what she rightly calls way to a healthy you. Her constant help in making the right choices for food helped me in my endeavour, what seemed too tough otherwise with her help seemed so simple. She made it a point to keep in mind my likes and dislikes and gave me to eat everything, I did not have to give up anything rather with her diet I began eating more.
Initially I felt how would I lose weight as I was eating way more than earlier but least did I realise that It boosted my metabolism and soon became a part of my lifestyle. However I was always asked to keep portions in control.
What I also learnt from Dr Deepti is making the healthy choices while eating out I mean I dint have to give up eating restaurant food but was taught how to scan the menu and make wise and healthy choices.
What I liked about my weight loss program with her was she always understood my requirements and tailor made the diet plan to meet my needs and requirements.
Her approach was individualistic and also motivated me to start exercising. Once I started exercising I realised my energy levels improved and could study better.
Also during her maternity leave she was always available on the phone and kept me on track.
I have lost 42 kgs in 10 months with Dr Deepti Ramchandani's help and motivation without any crash dieting in fact I have started eating better and learnt to make healthy choices.
Weight loss has made me a different person altogether I feel more energetic . Earlier I couldn’t walk a short distance felt lazy and would often take a rickshaw but now avoid rickshaws and walk up most places. Also climbing stairs would leave me panting and breathless but now I feel I can climb up stairs with no discomfort.
Last but not the least looking forward to achieve my health goals under my mentor and guide Dr Deepti.
